Mental Health First Aid Seniors
Mental Health First Aid Seniors trains participants to effectively respond to an emerging mental health problem or crisis until the situation is resolved and appropriate treatment is found. The course is intended for service providers and informal caregivers, including spouse/partner, family members, friends and neighbours. Certification upon successful completion.
Instructor: Mental Health Commission of Canada
Location: Provincial Building, Smoky Lake (108 Wheatland Ave.)
Dates: Wednesday, Nov. 20 & Thursday, Nov. 21
2 days - 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Registration Fee: Free. Refreshments provided.
Minimum 10; maximum 25 registrants.
Registration Deadline: Nov. 6
In partnership with Mental Health Commission & Town of Smoky Lake FCSS.
Even though there is no charge to attend, all individuals must pre-register.
